“Good trek”
Reviewed 11 September 2012

Its a medium difficulty trek. We trekked the way up. There are many lemonade stalls on the way. If you don't like to trek, vehicles are available that take you up for a fee. Recommended season to go is end of monsoons when there is greenery and springs.

“Head in the clouds”
Reviewed 29 August 2012

After visiting Tiger Point in the torrential rain and fog, this place finally gave us what we came for: incredible views over luscious green hills. There were some clouds and rain, but this just added to the amazing atmosphere. You won't find any Western tourists here and therefore we become part of the attraction. It reminded us just how friendly and beautiful Indian people are. Didn't even matter that there's not actually a fort up there.

“Gadh ala pan Sinh gela.”
Reviewed 28 August 2012

Shivaji maharaj lost his trusted Tanaji whose statue exists on the top of the Fort. When he won the battle for this Fort.He said Gadh, means Fort in marathi, was won but the lion was lost.this is the meaning of the title. The famous words.Excellent view.Very popular with climbers.Risky in monsoon and for unmanageable kids.

“Visiting the legend battle field”
Reviewed 25 August 2012

I have enjoyed visiting this wonderful place. It raises goose bumps when you hear the story of the legend and how he won the entire battle. The view from the top is breath taking and it blows your mind. I have been to many forts but this is one masterpiece. If you planning to visit Pune you must visit this place. Ensure you have traditional marathi food before you climb the fort. There are few stalls right when you start your journey. Its looks like small hut, they offer you curd in clay pots and the taste is really yummy. You can enjoy the curd with sugar or salt or may be with chilli powder depending on your taste. Don't forget to enjoy "Pitla" and " Bajra Chapati". If you love tea then you should grab a glass which is really best. Saluting the legend. :
