Visiting Sri Balaji Temple here is almost like Tirumala. The temple cleanliness is amazing for the crowd it handles. It is a divine place and you get real god vibrations, once you are inside the temple. It makes you wonder that in these times also that some one have created a temple like the old days, with dedication and love for the All Mighty. A must visit if you have the time.

Hardly 50-60 kms from pune Narayanpur Balaji temple is a place worth visit. Replica of original tirupati Balaji temple. In offerings you get the big ladoo too same as Tirupati. This falls in Mumbai-Banglore highway. Road is pretty good and lot of roadside dhabas to enjoy outside meal. Temple has big parking space and they offer free meal coupon(bhandara) but the queue is always too long. Its a must visit place.

The temple is very well maintained and if you visit quite early in the day (they open at 5 AM) , you can see the main deity in a matter of minutes whereas on a weekend or in the later half of the day, quite a queue builds up. In summer, the ground gets really hot and it can be quite an experience to reach the comfort of the shade from the point where you leave your slippers.

Route from Pune to Narayanpur: I stay in Magarpatta, so all the routes mentioned start at Magarpatta! Go towards hadapsar market. Do not go over the flyover, go tothe left of it. Once you see the hadapsar bus stand (to the right, when going from magarpatta), you have to go around it . You have to go on this quite a long distance to reach Saswad village. You will cross a Ghat section to reach Saswad. Once you reach here, you would see a bus stand (a bigger bus stop to be precise!) and also a Sivaji Statue (not a good landmark, as there are hundreds of Sivaji statues all over Maharashtra). Beyond this bus stand, you will see sign boards for Narayanpur. The moment you take this turn, you will enter a maze of extremely small streets. After crossing this village, the greenery starts to open up. This road will take you right into Narayanpur and to the Balaji temple beyond that.

“Best Option.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2011

First i would like to correct the name It's been "Sri Ahobila Mutt's Sri Balaji Mandir" & not Balagi.
Best Option for devotees who are not able to reach Tirupati to get blessing as it is been located in a greenary surrounding at Narayanpur, on Mumbai - Pune - Bangalore Highway with a peaceful atmosphere.
Sri Ahobila Mutt Sri Balaji Mandir, Pune was set up in 1998 as a branch of Sri Ahobila Mutt.
This temple architecture & idols of the Gods are similar to Tirumala Tirupati Balaji Temple. The temple was dedicated on 04.02.2002 in the august presence of Srimad Azhgiyasingar, the 45th Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt.
Here we can worship the idols like Sri Balaji, Sri Padmavati, Sri Lakshmi Nrusimha, Sri Garud, Sri Hanuman, Sri Ram-laksahman & Sita, Sri Godha & Sri Sudarsan Chakra.
The temple has a big hall attached for its various festivals & this is also given to devotees for their social & religious functions to be performed at the feet of Sri Balaji like in Tirupati.
The place gives peace of mind & taking darshan of Sri Balaji here will make everyone feel charged & fulfills all the wishes of the devotees.
The temple is open daily inbetween 07.00am - 12.00noon & 16.00pm - 21.00pm.
