After going through the reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to visit this place for 2 nights on 26th December 12. We found this place to be average.,
Property : Property is not very well maintained. We stayed in Mangolia room, where various electric buttons were having loose connections. Wash Basin was getting choked. As this is winter season, we expected to have hot water, however it was very warm water, which gets cold very fast. It has small area for children but its very small. Some parts are under renovations. Swimming Pool is in a working condition.
Food : Food is average with very limited menu, we recommend Zunka Bhakri. On 2nd day night, we could not get the food here as everybody was given holiday on that day as it was not fully occupied. Not sure how this can happen. We had to go to 10 km away for food to Paradise Cafe or Hill View Restaurant. Though the care taker offered to get the veg food from nearby hotel, which we denied as we wanted to have non veg food.
Everything you need, you need to ask for in this farm. No intercom facilities. For getting anything you need to walk to the Kitchen or office.
However the caretakers are good & cooperative.
But not recommended from my side @ 1500 per couple without food, you may find better farms in this belt at this price.
Travel : Mulshi as a place is good, there are various roads which reaches to this place. We wnt to this place via Chandni Chaik (Pune) - Paud - Pirangut - Akole road, which is the longest road but streight road. Once you reach Pune/ Hinjewadi/NDA ask for Chandni chauk or you may miss the chandni chauk very easily. There are other routes from Lonavala through various ghats, which can easily save your 40-50 kms. If you are adventures you can take this route. During mansoon season people can take the route of Kolad - Mulshi - Pune just for breathtaking views and waterfalls on the route. Amazing road to travel during monsoon.
