Salalah’s Barbeque Nation restaurant is one I am unlikely to return to, even though I had previously been about ten times. The food is quite delicious and so it should be at the prices charged.
What has really upset me however is the state of the women’s toilets lately. Just to wash ones hands in the basin presents insufferable scent pollution. In spite of stomach problems immediately after the last time, I chanced the place again in good faith. Perhaps one can not always assume that stomach problems can be attributed to the last place of dining.
Again the toilets were out of control with bad smells and moisture on the floor. I mentioned my concerns to our waiter who smiled and presumably did not pass the message on. I’m sorry to say it but experienced severe diarrhea within twenty minutes after the meal of tandoori mushrooms and a banana milkshake.
As the kitchen is unnervingly close to the bathroom, I would hazard a guess that people’s meals are thus infected. An unannounced visit from the Ministry of Health may be an idea.
