One has to keep realistic when staying in Indian hotels on a budget, they will be basic and there may be problems.
I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour, about 10 mins away from the beach. Rooms large enough for 1,basic but clean with bathroom where hot water may or not be available at times. I had a tiny narrow balcony overlooking the alley to the beach.
Not fantastic but everything was clean for me, and secure.

Filthy bathroom!
No hot/warm water - imagine trying to get sand and sunscreen off without warm water.
If you don't believe me, just walk up to the third floor and take a look at the kitchen!
Arrived here as a spell on a intrepid tour. Found. Sheets still dirty. Bathroom had not been cleaned at all marks in toilet. Bloody stains on sheets and pillows. To far away from beach. Down dark alley ways. One to forget
A comfortable, cute place with your basic needs covered. Not super clean, though. You can come and go as you please, so it can get a bit noisy with people coming back late at night. 10 mins from the shops and the beach down a little lane way.
Booked this hotel by calling them up. Two non AC rooms for 7000 Rs was way over the top for a hotel of bare minimum facilities like this one. To top it off the workers said they do not accept card payment or Paytm.
There is no security for the premises and people bang on your doors at odd times of the night - kinda makes you doubt whether this place is safe for girls . Bad experience, will not recommend this.
Basic hotel. Clean rooms. Convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. The terrace is absolutely perfect and it's a whole 90 seconds to one of the most gorgeous beaches ever. Stay here, you won't regret it. Excellent value. A steal, really.
