Room and washroom are clean. The place is just average with no tv or kettle or other room amenities.
Would recommend the place if you want to stay for one night.

First things first, the price you pay is only for the room and nothing else. There is no TV, and you even have to pay for a bottle of water. Other than that, the property is located impeccably and they provide they customers a private shortcut to the beach which comes in quite handy. The room is very cozy and very well-maintained, the pool view and private balcony also makes the room much much better.
I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. The location was fine.......just 5 minutes walk to get to all the /restaurants/shops/beach. The room was a decent size, with air conditioning, and a modern bathroom. Free wi/fi available.The room lacked wardrobe/ bathroom glasses/ toiletries. After 3 nights we requested clean towels, and could possibly have requested clean sheets.During 6 days, the room was never cleaned.
The pool was fine, though there were only 7 sunloungers available.
The beds, however, were HIDEOUSLY hard.......eventually we borrowed sunlounger mattresses and slid them under the bed mattress........a slight improvement, but only just. Nevertheless, excellent value/price.
Nice, clean and peacefull hotel. The swimming pool area was also good and compact. We thought that the hotel would be bigger but actually it was really nice suprise to see how relaxing the atmosphere there was. We usually prefer smaller hotels but booked this one because of the swimming pool.

This is in a fabulous location right in the thick of Varkala north cliff. It's a stones throw away from the shops, restaurants and beach. You can use the hotel across the way also which has a bigger pool and a restaurant. The staff were brilliant but the room wasn't cleaned for the whole 6 nights we stayed. I would re visit but would request room cleaning on arrival. I did end up cleaning myself.

But because of the situation i and my family had to move to Akhil which is also a part of Akhil group of resorts. The surroundings were very much Eco friendly the food was so yummy the room Service and hot water facility were there. Well maintained swimming pool and ayurvedic spa.the thing which impressed me the most is that the resort. Had a shotcut to the beach which was only 3 min walk.Don't miss the the special item of akhil the sizzlers .the staffs were very good and a very large car parking facility.
