Nice, clean and peacefull hotel. The swimming pool area was also good and compact. We thought that the hotel would be bigger but actually it was really nice suprise to see how relaxing the atmosphere there was. We usually prefer smaller hotels but booked this one because of the swimming pool.

Really nice hotel with helpfull staff.

This is in a fabulous location right in the thick of Varkala north cliff. It's a stones throw away from the shops, restaurants and beach. You can use the hotel across the way also which has a bigger pool and a restaurant. The staff were brilliant but the room wasn't cleaned for the whole 6 nights we stayed. I would re visit but would request room cleaning on arrival. I did end up cleaning myself.

Actually i booked in Rajapark Beach resort
But because of the situation i and my family had to move to Akhil which is also a part of Akhil group of resorts. The surroundings were very much Eco friendly the food was so yummy the room Service and hot water facility were there. Well maintained swimming pool and ayurvedic spa.the thing which impressed me the most is that the resort. Had a shotcut to the beach which was only 3 min walk.Don't miss the the special item of akhil the sizzlers .the staffs were very good and a very large car parking facility.

Great location, about a 5 minute walk to the beach, local to all the shops. Staff are very helpful, both pools are great. Wifi is good.

Rooms are nice, the air con units do a brilliant job. The sister hotel acroas the road does very nice food. Overall a very relaxed place and loverly area

The bedroom was comfortable and clean. Room 210 (twin bedroom) had a small balcony out back to hang up clothes and to sit out to appreciate the view over the pool. It also has a fan, as well as working air conditioning, with hot water in the bathroom - give it a few minutes to heat up after turning on the switch though.
We were provided with towels, soap and toilet paper. The bed linen and towels were very clean.
The pool kept sanitised and perfect for an afternoon swim - the water was warm, so it was very much like swimming in a bath. We had sun loungers and were provided eventually with beach towels (free of charge).

My negative is about the lack of staff - whenever you needed someone, there was no one about. I am sure during high-season this is less likely to be the case, but it was annoying at times when you couldn't find anybody.
Make sure to check if you plan to come back to the resort late at nights, as we were locked out when returning from dinner at 22h30 and had to find the security guard at the resort across the road. This is reassuring for safety and security purposes however.
