Stayed here for little over 2 weeks and the word hospitality took on a new meaning for me! Kunji and team made my stay memorable to another degree. They promised me that when I left Varkala my memories would be 'sticky' and surely that's the case. I stayed in the sea facing room on the 1st floor which was decorated mostly in white (my favourite). The entire place has a simplistic yet elegant vibe about it. I could constantly hear the ocean even though the doors and windows were closed. I used to sit on the balcony and have my cup of coffee in the morning and just that experience would relax me for the entire day. Kukku the chef made yummy breakfast every morning (total English style - :D ). They arranged a bike for me so I could visit the cliffs and beaches whenever I wanted. This place is also super close to the beach (like I said I could hear the ocean throughout). Just the vibe of this place is surreal and I would recommend that you definitely visit Mint Inside just to experience the tranquility of the place and the hospitality of the staff. The only reason I rated this 4 stars as I feel they need to improve the washroom and overall cleanliness but that's only because I'm an OCD freak.
