Called in here late evening as the other hotel i wanted to go was full. Chose this place as I was travelling with my family. We were three ..had asked for double room with extra bed. I just kept calling to find the location. I told the reception person that we were tired and wana have everything ready. Awesome! my check in was quick..my room already had the extra bed (normally you check in first to get the hotel to fit in the extra bed) ...This is what i call caring! Value for money is one thing.. caring the needs of the guest is another. Classic Avenue ..thanks and keep up this always.
Food ..good. nice buffet. Pleasing personnel. Close to railway station and shopping roads.
One thing i must advise the hotel is to provide non-smoking floors for the guests who have aversion to smoke.

Room Tip: Rooms in the 5 &6 are better

Never expected a place like this in the little Trivandrum town. Had an extremely comfortable overnight stay at this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and its not too far away from the airport.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was simply wonderful! They had quite a huge variety of food items - american, south Indian, North Indian etc.

This is MY choice of hotel for Trivandrum!

Room Tip: Not much of a view from any room. So any room is good.

Stayed here on our last night in Kerala as it was close to the airport. We were not expecting much at all however left feeling very satisfied. The hotel itself is a bit old now and not quite 4*, with the rooms all needing updating. There was also a funny smell in our room, but we were only there for a few hours so didn't bother staff with this. This was the only hotel we stayed in which actually had a bath tub. I did have a problem with Wifi however the staff rectified this immediately. The staff were also very helpful at our midnight check out when my suitcase zip suddenly broke, they did a great job repairing it quickly and efficiently.

We stayed here for one night after not being able to get all three days at S.P. Grand. We were looking to relax and enjoy a good hotel. This didn't disappoint. We had a bit of a discussion about the price when we got there. We were accommodated and even upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. We should've just stayed there the three days but we'd already booked at S.P. Grand who was very nice at following up with us. Anyways, the day we were checking out, after we came back from breakfast our key didn't work. So we called down to the front desk, they sent someone in 5 mins to give us another key. This is not something I've experienced before, that the key doesn't work. I don't know if it 's a common thing at the hotel. Oh another thing the breakfast was almost finished by the time we got down there. It was still half hour before breakfast was over. SLOW SLOW SERVICE. Our coffee came about 45 mins after we asked for it. Maybe they were having a bad day.

After the other places we'd stayed in India, this was like going to heaven. The room was good-sized and had everything you'd expect in a nice U.S. hotel room. Even a bathtub! We arrived in the middle of the night after a delayed flight, and staff was there and ready for us. Room was clean and comfortable with working and quiet A/C and a mini-fridge, and even two comfy chairs and a coffee table. The breakfast buffet was very nice, but because we had gotten in so late we were also last-minute getting to there, so selection had narrowed. The only complaint was that it took forever to settle the bill (which had already been paid through Agoda), and the only charge was for one drink from the room fridge. There was supposed to be a travel desk, but there was no one there. We inquired about transportation to Kanyakumale. We had thought of taking the bus or train, but we were reassured that a taxi driver would take us to places to see enroute. We waited a very long time for driver to show up, and then he did not know English, and we didn't really know what to ask to see (our fault, as we should have looked at our guide book). We would have been much happier and saved a lot of rupees had we just gone out to check out the bus and trains ourselves, which were nearby. This lack of helpfulness from the staff in the morning was the only negative. One other thing was that I had emailed the hotel asking for someone to meet us at the airport, but never had any response. Fortunately, the small airport had a good prepaid taxi booking arrangement, and we were whisked into town in no time (given that it was something like 1 a.m. and no traffic).
