All time favourite. Better than palayam branch at the moment. Kerala-middle eastern-western food available. Great choice of food, drinks and deserts. Bun cafe and dosa hut nearby offering more choices.

This restaurant is one of our favourite go-to places for good non-veg grills and shawarmas - especially their parotta shawarma is a personal favourite. It serves really good Shawais and butter chicken too. They have separate seatings - "Dosha Hut" - for quick and light meals, the "Bun Cafe" for a coffee or dessert and also the restaurant for a more elaborate experience. Getting a seat at the restaurant can be a bit of a waiting game at times because it is almost always crowded. The staff however, are very courteous down from the parking assistants to the restaurant staff.

Though labeled as a 'budget' restaurant, it is far from that but if you choose the combos wisely, you would at least have a happy belly :)
There is one thing which I find to be a big drawback here - all the walls are dotted with different 'specials' and combos which is more confusing and also very embarrassing when you try to look at these listings while someone is eating their meal! So many listings only create a confusion and then when you have already ordered your food, you tend to find something more appealing on the menu while looking around!
It would be a nice idea to have all these compiled in the menu card or have a folder to add these fliers rater than hanging it up on the wall.

The place also has a good selection of icecreams. The best being the "Trendsetter" - 10 scoops of icecream to share and enjoy.

As we went to try new cuisines in Trivandrum our first choice was Thakkaram..But people and its website told us it was permanently closed. So we get the suggestion to go to Zamzam. So,we went..Very much crowded even it had four next to next hotels in one place.Really good menu..Almost all non veg dishes available..We tried the Chicken Mandi,Al Fatham,Karimeen Pozhichathu etc..since these are not available in our hometown..Karimeen was exceptionally delicious..Mandi was good ..but it was served very large quantity. And their Desserts items are really amazing!..Creams,Crushers,Mojitos...all are tasty...My pick is Pan Crushers..
If you are a Non veg lover you must surely visit this place with your Family..There is one for everyone!..
