“A must-see”
Reviewed 3 February 2012

If you are interested in art, architecture, tradition or history; this place would definitely amaze you. The entrance and the interiors are well maintained and taken care of, but unfortunately it's not the same with the rear side of this beautiful architectural marvel.
Just take a walk to the road behind the structure and you can see the damage caused by miscreants and thieves and the inefficency of the senseless administrators in protectecting it.
A visit to Udayagiri Fort adjoining the palace is also recommended, where you can see the tomb of the Dutch Admiral Eustachius De Lannoy.

“An European and traditional kerala style architecture”
Reviewed 24 January 2012

Hi everbody,
This palace I visited Dec 2011, is worth seeing, as this is built by combining architecture of Kerala and Portuguese. The timing  is 10-1 and 2-5 pm I went there  at 12.59 and I was the last man to enrter before closing for lunch. So slowly watching each rooms balcony of the palace leaving behind the people who entered just before me. walking alone into the palace gave me the feeling that I am king of it (hope I joked it )

with regards,

Alen
