The view of the Lotus ponds from my cottage was awesome.

The therapies were excellent under the supervision of Dr.Sreejit and Dr.Jaylaxshmi.
The care and attention to minute details in line of treatment was exceptional by Dr.Sreejit.Ever smiling he didn't hesitate to extend himself from his busy schedule and interacted with the guests at every level.

Room tip: Rooms in the main facility facing the lotus pond/paddy fields.

NB -recently - even before the completion of their package we had to terminate services of 2 very rude behaving , highly toxic behaving clients who were constantly insulting Ayurveda rules and therapy procedures .. on top this our kitchen staff and also Dr Sreejit were constantly mentally taunted and harassed by these two clients and so we showed them exit door with lot of grace and respect and implemented cancellation policy as published in website

An exceptional week of tuning up, healing and knowledge.

This was my first visit to Atherya, and at the very outset I wanted to mention that it was a week very well spent.

Both Dr. Shreejit and his wife Dr. Jayalakshmi were exceptionally warm and generous and made me and my entire family feel completely at home. The treatments and the therapists were very well trained as well and quite professional. The way Dr. Shrijeet has made the system so exceptionally efficient and accessible to each visitor (Western + Indian) with a series of films that gives a detailed overview of the treatment being taken by the patient is quite brilliant in making the place work so efficiently even though the therapists are natives with basic english speaking skills, it bridges the gap perfectly and also gives an overview of the treatment being had so one is completely aware of what the therapists are doing and why.

Also, both Dr. Shreejit and Dr. Jayalakshmi are quite well versed with the subject and very open to share from their vast wealth of knowledge. I'm grateful for all the conversations I had with them and all the gems of information I carried back home.

On a sidenote - along with Ayurveda and the treatments the very sincere and hard working staff, the food, the rooms, the yoga and the picturesque views (being literally in the middle of a lake) were all amazing and I'm so grateful that I could spend the time with my entire family in such a hub of healing and rejuvenate together with them.

Wishing Dr. Shreejit, Dr. Jaya and the entire Atherya team the very best as they continue to grow and heal many from around the world.

One Stop Shop To Fix You !

If you are someone who believes in one life and enjoys every bit of by Eating, Drinking and etc, and wanted to continue that life style without compromising... Then this is the place!!!. Dr. Sreejit's customized treatment plan is phenomenal. After the course of your treatment / Therapy (Panchakarma etc), you will notice benefits from 2-3 months. You will feel really good, your physical / blood work numbers will be getting better each time you do. ( Of course, you need to maintain your regular Exercise).

If you are someone over 40 and enjoys life ( Eating & Drinking etc), I recommend Arthreya is the best place to clean your body (Internally...aka just like servicing your Car engine).

What to Except when you are at Athreya:
This is not a resort for having fun & joy ( of course but you can still enjoy the atmosphere, beautiful location, back waters & etc).
This is like a "Natural Ayurvedic Hospital", designed to cure / fix health issues or keep your physical body in "condition".

My Tip While you are there:
Be part of everything - Yoga, Walking / Talking / shopping groups, Site seeing - Back Waters, Temples & most importantly strictly follow the Diet.
You will make lot of good friends for Life !

You are in good, professional hands here ;-)

If you are batteling with a health condition or want to change and/or in depth detox this is the spot. It is not wellness but I feel so much better. Every body (& soul) is individually catered too. The doctors are dedicated and knowledgeable and the therapists are young but are well instructed by the doctors about your treatment. The doctors are always available for questions. This was my first trip to India and my introduction to Ayurveda and I will keep going with it. Some rooms are basic by German standards but the staff make every effort to make you feel comfortale, if there something you require. The grounds are small and well kept and you can go for a walk around the rice paddies.

Rest and recuperation

Was extremely happy with the personalised treatment and care taken by Dr shrijeet and his team. They are professionally qualified and hospitality is excellent. The healthy boiled food and panchkarma is awesome
