Description: Somewhere on this planet is a land...where stories are born and reborn with every passing moment. A land where there are trees that will tell you stories that no book can. Where stories wake up in playgrounds every morning and go to sleep with the waves every night. It is a land where stories smell of cinnamon and pepper and coconut... where stories are trapped in fishing nets and yet roam free in every heart. It is a land where stories have no borders and speak every language...and are found in every pair of eyes...happy stories, sad stories...stories of all the yesterdays that went past us and every tomorrow that is waiting to happen. You can call this land a piece of paradise or swargam or jannat. It is where you are the story-teller... and you are also the story. Yes... somewhere on earth is a land called Fort Kochi. It is the land of Qissa, ...Qissa...that Persian word for story..... We all have our Qissas and we are a part of countless Qissas. Come share, find and celebrate Qissas at Qissa ! Where there is 'A Story in every Sip'

This is a small cafe in a hotel , very close to the Chinese fishing nets in fort kochi . The decor is the one to attract anyone who enters it .. its very bright , with props of glass and antique decors here and there .. the food is also no nonsense and good for a quick bite and also for a relaxed coffee with a book to read.

Don’t forget to check this place out !

I love this spot. The food is great! I love their omelettes and their chocolate cake. The decor is so cute. The tables are made from old sewing machines, there are bird cages, typewrites, and just enough cuteness to feel totally at ease. The music is upbeat and the staff is always welcoming and responsive.

I walked past this place a couple of times and it doesn't look much from the outside but it's really great inside. Cool, airy, arty and spacious. Very friendly staff and a relaxed vibe with an appealing cosmopolitan menu. The fresh ginger tea is delicious - a huge pot with chunks of lime and a little bowl of honey on the side. A welcome change from the pretension of Kashi. Go and enjoy!

This cafe is unlike most cafes I’ve found in India - delicious aromatic coffee and amazing banana cake. I loved that they served filtered water in glass bottles to save on the amount of plastic waste there is in India.

I came with my friend and it was a big surprise. After a month in india , you can eat very good westerns food and to feel as if you’re in amsterdam or berlin the stuff are very polite and very welcoming. We have been there few times and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere
