We were in Fort Kochi for 2 weeks and ended up eating at Elite at least 10 times. Between my wife and I we tried about 16 different dishes and there is not one we wouldn't recommend, also whatever you chose get it with hot fresh Parathas (a gloriously rich Indian flat bread)on the side. Not to mention their wonderful Masala Chai (spiced, sweet, and milky Indian tea) and assorted pastries. They are popular with locals and tourists alike. I attribute that not only to their delicious fare, but the charm of Augustine and James, behind the register and on the floor. They will charm your socks off. Great sources of info and tales.

Probably the earliest to open for breakfast in the area. Most Indian dishes for breakfast seem to be prepared elsewhere in advance. The appam with veg stew was good but I would have preferred one less appam ( 3 were served) and more stew.Good coffee.

The personnel and manager sneer at you if you ask for a menu with prices posted. Please help Cochin good business by NOT patronising this restaurant
