We stayed at the raintree over the new years period and would highly recommend. It was great value, the rooms very clean, staff helpful and the location great. Recommend the rooftop garden.

I stayed here for a few days in January 2012. A driver picked me up at the airport in the early hours of the morning, and I was happy to see that there was always somebody inside the lobby, whatever the time of day. I went straight to sleep, and it was really quiet. It's a great location, at the top quiet end of Peter Celli Street, which runs into Princess Street. It's just around the corner from the Santa Cruz Basilica and from the Kathakali theatre (shows and concerts at night, and raga in the mornings). The room was large, clean, spotless, as was the en-suite bathroom, and I had my own little balcony. Everybody was really charming and helpful. I will definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: There are a couple of rooms with a little balcony overlooking Peter Celli Street.

Such a fabulous little gem of a place! Surprised at how wonderful this place was for such a budget price. We stayed in room 4 which had its own little balcony, a massive en-suite, AC and very clean. I had to spend a lot of time in this room, as unfortunately I came down with the dreaded Delhi Belly as we were making our way to Fort Cochin. Staff were very friendly and made sure I was looked after. Despite my condition, I did enjoy my stay here - the room overlooked a small street and the balcony, which was covered in climbing flowers, offered a place for me to get some fresh air and enjoy some of the colour of Fort Cochin while I recovered. The Tea Pot right next door is an amazing place for food.

Room Tip: All the rooms that I saw were beautifully presented, so not sure you could go wrong with any of them...

We loved Raintree! It was the nicest place we stayed at and far from the most expensive.
The rooms were super clean and beautifully decorated. Everyone working there went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The rooftop deck was a great place to have an evening nightcap that we bought at the local bar and brought back. It was also perfectly located tour favorite restaurants: Teapot & Oceanos. They also helped us book a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at the Old Harbour Hotel. Wish we were still there!

Room Tip: All great!
