The Brunton Boatyard was my husband's and my favorite hotel stay during our three-week tour of North and South India. The service is incredible; the staff is unbelievable attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy, comfortable and enjoying your stay. Our favorite staff person was Jessy, a beautiful, sweet woman who always greeted us with a smile. The facilities are gorgeous, the rooms and beds are incredibly comfortable, and the town of Fort Kochi is right outside the hotel entrance. We loved the hotel's location because we could walk around Kochi and along the waterfront without needing to get in the car. Next time we're in Kerala we'll make sure to spend longer than 48 hours in Fort Kochi and at Brunton Boatyard.

Room Tip: I think they're all good. All rooms look out onto the harbor!

went for dinner on 18th december 2011. we were disheartened to see very few vegetarian options. but chef ajay made special burnt tomato basil soup. and suggested few options. kara mota among them was the best. bhindi sabzi with an accompaniment was also very good. it was an excellent meal.

We spent 2 nights at Brunton's Boatyard in late November this year. The hotel is very elagant and well appointed. The food is delcious. I loved the breakfasts with amazing bread and individual meals made to order. The outlook on the harbour is picturesque and there is a great pool for doing laps. Good service and dleightful place to visit.

Room Tip: choose a room with a view of the sea

Started our tour of Kerala at this hotel in Cochin. A charming old-style hotel with large rooms and view of the harbor at the back of the hotel. The staff was very professional. We had a couple of issues with communication with the staff at breakfast when ordering off the menu...but on the whole everything went well. The staff and chef pulled out all stops for us for a romantic private dinner. The food was absoultely excellent. We took the sunset cruise offered which was very nice and offered great photo ops of the neighboring Chinese fishing nets.
