I work right next door to Pallkhi, and have eaten here regularly over the past 2 years..
Reaching the restaurant is no problem, as it's right on Jyoti Circle, the center of the city. Parking might be a pain, as there are just 3-4 slots outside the building. There's an exclusive lift that goes up to the restaurant, with efficient service. If the lift's locked, that means the place's closed.. (They are sadly open only at lunchtime and the evening, so no eats for the "in-between" times!)
The ambience is comfy if a bit dark, with enough space for extended families to cosy nooks for a couple. They have separate enclosed areas for those who'd indulge in alcohol along with their food.
The food - now that's the yummy part of the Pallkhi experience. The entire range of North Indian cuisine here is to die for, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian, rice dishes or breads. Fluffy parathas (try the unusual Cheese paratha, which my kids love!), thick delicious curry, crisp finger food.. I love the chef! :)
The service is efficient and accommodative. You're not kept waiting too long for your food, that reaches you fresh and hot.
It's a bit more expensive than average, which's the only negative I'd give it. To be tried for the food though..
