It's back to being easier to navigate in an auto or on foot now that construction on the Metro is complete.
We like walking there and re-visiting the old haunts we're familiar with.

There are a lot of shops and restaurants but the pathway is small, dirty and crowded.

Great place to hang out during the evening. The place is dotted with malls, pubs and food joints. If you are a food lover don't forget to visit corner house. This place is one of the best in the city. If you have problem finding the place ask any young crowd, you would surely find it out.

Just a tip for anyone looking to take a rickshaw around Bangalore City from the MG Road area. I found a pre-paid rickshaw counter on MG road, just underneath the new metro station. You just tell them where you want to go and they will fill in a coupon with the price, which you then pay to the driver upon arrival at your destination.

This cut out the problem of being constantly quoted inflated tourist prices for short journeys around the city, and worked really well.
