Place is good to visit once. For half an hr show you have stand 1.5 hr in queue to get show ticket. You have to stand in queue by 4 o'clock to get 6.30 pm show ticket in weekend days. Only one ticket counter and inefficient staff.
There is Nandani ice cream oultlet in the campus. I like ice cream more than the show.

Good place to visit with family. There is a Science park just in front of the planetarium. The sky theater show ticket on the counter costs 50 rs and 30 rs(for a single child). 2 tickets per head are issued at the counter. You can also book tickets for the show through bookmyshow. Children below 3 years are not allowed inside the sky theater. The 12:30 pm show and 4:00 pm shows are in English. There is also a mirror dome which show case the shows natural selection and dawn of the space age.Opens at 10 or 11 am and closes by 5:30 pm. Closed on Mondays and second Tuesdays.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in Bengaluru is one of the hidden treasures. It is an ideal place to visit with family, friends and kids.

The area around the Planetarium is well maintained and landscaped and the park outside has a great play area and outdoor science 'learning' games for kids.

The auditorium indoors is air-conditioned with comfortable seats and the sound-and-light show is well orchestrated.

Unique in South India, best to visit with family, specially kids. I loved the shows when I was a kid. Shows are running in different times of the day.

Stopby the Planetarium when you in the neighborhood. Shows are fantastic and they run throughout the day at different times(shows offered in both Kannada and English languages).

Nice place for children. All things in park are based on science.
Planetarium show is excellent and must see for children to understand the universe.

The show timings are very limited, I recommend to plan very well before visiting . Call and then go as the waiting times may be too much sometimes. But once you are in , the show is fantastic. At par with international standrds.

For the show/movie the star projector was excellent and the graphics part of the astronomical show was also excellent. Outside in the front are many interesting free hands on science activities. Try to get to a show - alternating English shows.
