Description: As served in courts and on the battlefield of history, the fare at K & K is a coming together of ancient culinary secrets, long forgotten herbs and exotic flavors to pamper the palate. It presents a symphony of flavorful curries and delicious Kebabs. It is a melting pot of innumerable new dishes which originated throughout Central Asia and ultimately found a home in India. Melt-in-the-mouth Kebabs make their way forth from the restaurant's armoury of clay ovens, Iron Tandoors, Charcoal and 'Pathar' (stone) grills along with rustic 'Angethis' and 'Tawas'. Delicately flavoured Qormas, Qaliyans, Salans and Dopiazas simmered in Deghs, Copper Handis and Cauldrons enliven your meal. The sumptuous fare at K & K comprises a mouth-watering array of Kebabs and a wide range of dishes from all over India. These dishes can be categorised as either Qormas, Qaliyas or Salans. Show kitchens visible from all corners are the highlights of the restaurant where the sights and smells of cooking seduce your senses. Different kitchens work in tandem to prepare a delectable feast of Kebabs, Curries, Biryanis and Desserts. The interiors of K & K reflect the haunting beauty of North Indian forts. A brass motif engraved wooden entrance, Dholpur stone flooring and carved wooden pillars create a look of rugged earthiness.

Located in ITC Gardenia. Very very tasty food. Rich in butter and cream. They have an all wheat roomali which was a first for me. Quite expensive- what one could expect it to be at a five star. Service was not all that good. Maybe there were less staff working on that day.

This restaurant is located within the ITC Royal Gardenia, and the food is delicious! Come to this restaurant with an empty stomach since there is a lot of food. I had garlic naan, fried cheese, fish, and three types of sauces - veggies, dal, and yogurt. Loved all of the spices and flavors. Service was good too.

Lunch was on the pricier side since it came out to be over $30, but at least the food was good!

I've been to Bangalore dozens of times since 1994 but the best meal I've had in all that time was at Kebabs & Kurries in July, 2011. K&K is styled after Bukhara at the ITC in Delhi but the menu is different and much better.

I started with a pan-fried paneer dish then moved on to a lamb shank curry in a dense tomato gravy accompanied by rice and parathas. All of the food was absolutely terrific.

If I had to make a choice between great food and great decor, I'd always go for the food. Kebabs and Kurries doesn't require that choice though. It's a beautiful place, again styled after Bukhara but nicer and they don't ask you to sit on logs.

With beer my meal was around 2,000 rupees; a bit high by Indian standards but well worth it. Great job, ITC. I'll be back many times.
