My family decided to visit Ladakh during the peak of its tourist season in August, 2021. Since we were late to the game, we faced challenges to find hotels or an all inclusive package in Ladakh.
We were about to abandon all hopes when the pro-active staff at The Indus Valley (TIV) came to our rescue. TIV was able to offer us an all-inclusive package within days of our request with hotels stays in Leh, Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake with a dedicated driver and car at our disposal. We were excited to embark on our journey, which had been long overdue due to the pandemic.

As we arrived at the cosy property of TIV, we were greeted by a fair, light-eyed security guard who looked nothing short of a movie star. TIV had a beautiful outside lawn with free flowing water falls and a seating area to enable its guests to enjoy the pleasant weather.
Dazie (receptionist) welcomed us in with refreshing beverages and showed us to our well-maintained rooms which comprised of all modern-day necessities (smart TVs, heater, quality toiletries, etc). Our first day in Ladakh was intended for acclimatization so we spent a considerable amount of time in our rooms. The room service was very quick and the staff was very hospitable.
The rooms had a few flies in the evening (which seemed to be a prevalent problem in the vicinity) however the staff was quick to offer solutions and get rid of the problem.

Our package also included breakfast and dinner at the hotel which is recommended in the absence of dining options in the area. Chef Pawan and his team were very accommodating of our specific food requests. After 2 relaxing days at TIV, we were on our way to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake.

We were celebrating a birthday upon our return to TIV for our last day in Ladakh. We had requested the staff to arrange a small cake if possible. However the staff and chef team went above and beyond and gave us a memorable celebration complete with a delicious Black Forest cake, balloons and flowers on a privately set table. We were beyond elated by the hospitality shown and the proactive attitude of the TIV staff.

Overall what the hotel lacked in infrastructure was more than made up for with unparalleled hospitality and a can-do behavior. We would recommend TIV to anyone who is looking for a stress-free experience coupled with close proximity to the Leh market.

Well down to the entire TIV team for making our Ladakh trip an unforgettable memory!

Stayed for two nights 25th -27th July..An overrated hotel, rooms are small, average meal spread, no special facilities, very limited staff, no value for money..The Abduz is much better choice in the same budget

This hotel is centrally located, at a walking distance from the main market. We stayed in their 2 Bdr suite which was spacious enough for our family of 4. The attached sun facing balcony was an added bonus.
Special thanks to Mr Sonam Pervez , Illena & Diezle for making our stay soooo comfortable. Food is good, they even have oxygen cylinders for medical emergencies with a doctor on call facility. Do go for this place without a second thought.

Very nice hotel with warm and efficient service. Rooms and very clean and well appointed. The hotel is also very centrally located and is walking distance to the main marketplace.
The service is very good. Raftaar and Illena at the front desk were very helpful and so was Javed at the restaurant.
