Best hospitality and superb host. We spent 1 day here but I feel it's worth 2-3 days minimum.. you will experience the authentic kashmiri culture here..The host Adnan is the person who made our trip worth it.
The food and the efforts they made to plan our stay, welcome snacks, cake, candle light decoration was something which made our experience soo good. Now I can say Kashmir lives is my heart.

along with my husband stayed at akbar group of houseboat for 4 nights. We had heard about the hospitality of kashmiri people but experienced it first hand here. Houseboat owner Mr Adnan is a gem of a person and he will take care of you like family.
The rooms were cosy and comfortable even during the extreme winter. The heating arrangements done are top notch.
The view from the houseboat deck is amazing and one can sit here for hours admiring it.
The driver Umarji is literally the best driver in the town. He will entertain you with his stories throughout the ride and Chef Hilalji will treat you to tasty meals everyday.
The shikara ride from Nigeen lake to Dal lake is a surreal experience and a must do activity.
All in all we had a great time here!
We came here for New Years and stayed for 4 nights. The houseboat is beautiful, clean and a heritage site. The view from houseboat’s deck of the lake and mountains beyond is incredible.
Adnan ji is a gracious host who cares for his guests personally. Hilal ji served us delicious veg and non veg food everyday.
Zohar, the houseboat butler kept the room warm every day and was always available.
Adnan ji, also helped us get the best driver in Srinagar, Mr Umar. Umar ji is driver, guide and entertainment all combined in one.
For New Years, adnan ji hosted an amazing party with bonfire, hookah, music and lots of fun.
This is literally the best houseboat in Srinagar, powered by a great team lead by Mr Adnan. So much so that we can’t wait to come back here again in summer for a month.
