The rooms have just the basic (almost). There are beds with clean covers, a few shelvs, and a desk. There is not any heat - at least not in the room we were staying. And at the time we were there it was november and very cold. But with a good sleepingbag and some extra clothes on we did fine, and had a good noghts sleep. And in the morning we had the most beautiful view of the river just outside our window. The badrooms however is not the best you will see - but it's India! - so as long as you have some papir of your own with you. You have to ask for warm water - or you can just do it like me and take a cold shower!
The small town is 5 min walk away - with all the basic stuff some O.K. resturants and a little bit of shopping. There is a hotspring about 3 km away - and if the sun is shining it is a great walk. There is also a lot of options regarding paragliding and riverrafting.
I can definitly recommend the hotel is you are a backpacker like me - where the most important things are pricing, clean covers and a basic room for your stuff.
