The Great Kebab Factory is one of the finest places for authentic Indian Cuisine in New Delhi.
The restaurant does not have a la carte option. It is a great experience from the time you take your seat.
We were served one exquisite variety after another in a sequence. The well-informed waiter kept telling us the history and nuances for each dish being served.
Service is excellent.
One advise to first timers- book your seat in advance, lest you will be waiting for getting a seat in this popular restaurant.

But beware, no matter how much you beg for the food not to be spicy, it will be. And there is nothing the staff can do about it cause the chicken and meat are marinated in the sauce for two days.

Still gushing about a lovely past experience at the Noida outlet a few years ago, we chose this venue to celebrate our parents' anniversary. The Lucknow kebab festival was also a big draw for us true-blue Lucknavis. This time, however, we were in for a big disappointment. Perhaps we should have reconsidered our decision when the usher told us that the place is relatively empty on Saturdays! but we didnt so here goes:
We started on a positive note with the galouti kebab...which was suitably melt-in-the-mouth and with just the right blend of spices. The tandoori chicken was nothing much to talk about. The unusual fish seekh kebab was subtle and delicious, but things went downhill from there - the chicken mince tasted like a bland chicken sausage, the kakori was too oily and the chicken tikka was undercooked.

Even the vegetarian fare was insipid - as a devoted fan of paneer tikka I was truly disappointed with the chunk of bland paneer placed in front of me, which I doubt had seen the insides of a tandoor that day. The vegetable kebab looked so unappetising that it was left untouched in our plates.

And that's not all - the makhni dal served to us was cold! Certainly not expected from a restuarant of this repute. The biryani was decent, but reguests for some gravy led to another cold offering of chicken gravy, so we just had ours with some raita instead.

Redemption, however, came in the form of dessert - the tilla kulfi was fragrant and with the perfect amount of sweetness, the phirni was also yummy and so was the gulab jamun. The freshly baked bread with fennel also earned a few brownie points.

Still, the uninspired service and the meetha paan at the end, which was not meetha at all, killed the experience for us. So in a nutshell, a huge letdown. My verdict: this meal does not offer you the full bang for your buck! No second visits please!

If you are a Food lover like I am, then this is the place for you. I spent an evening at the Kebab Factory.

The kebabs at the Great Kabab Factory were better than other hotel restaurants, they bring you the full selection and you can eat and as much as you can. The staff seems proud of their offering - an unlimited train of roasted lamb, chicken and fish, prepared in various ways, with dal, naan, biryani, raita, salad and deset to end it. I could go on and on but eventually I had to say Stop as my stomach ached from eating so much good food.

The service was at a good pace, giving one time to eat before bringing the next item on your table.

The restaurant deco is a bit basic compared to most other hotel restaurants.

The service was quite good.

Enjoyed the food, constant delivery of starters and then a good selection of main courses. All taken care of by our hosts. Food reasonalbe but a little on the oily side for my taste buds. Staff were very helpful. Good selection of drinks and a good general atmosphere.
