“Zangoora show was fantastic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2011

I had my own apprehensions while going there with a bunch of foreign colleagues - would this be a cheesy, poorly produced and noisy show?

Well, Zangoora is simply breathtaking. It is comparable to cirque du soleil and the production quality is very good. Excellent dancing, music, sets and a nice bollywoodish story. The seating was excellent and the entire experience was truly remarkable. Finally, we can say there is a world class stage show in India (pardon if there are others, haven't heard!)

Kingdom of Dreams itself is a culture village / shopping place / eatery etc. Reminded me of gaylord opryland resort in nashville. Lots of resturants serving decent food - we have some Punjabi food, was okay. Overall, a decent place. Zangoora seems to be the real deal there though.

“Awesome place to spend your day with family or friends.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2011

I went to Kingdom Of Dreams just a few days back.
Its a lovely place. Its divided into two parts. First is the Nautanki Mahal and the second is Culture Gully.
Nautanki Mahal is like a big theatre in which there are daily shows of Zangoora which is a grand bollywood style musical drama. I didn't go there but i have heard it is the best in India and is also compared to Broadway. There are different show timings for the shows which can be found out on the website of Kingdom Of Dreams along with the prices.
Culture Gully is a very amazing place. If for some reason you don't have time to go to the Nautanki Mahal, you can still enjoy the beauty of the culture gully. It is a wide lane of a lot of colourful buildings. Each building represents a state and has either a restaurant or a handicraft store or both from that state. One of the main attractions in the Culture Gully is the lovely blue sky. It is a fake sky and it covers the whole of Culture Gully. I was amazed at the looks of the sky inside. It looked so very real and beautiful. Even though it maybe raining outside, the sky in the culture gully is always clear and blue with some white clouds which look fantastic. Its a good place to hang out with family and friends with cultural dance, street magic and other different events happening inside.
The food in the restaurants of different states looks authentic and the ambience of every restaurant matches with the culture of that state. Here, i'd like to mention that the food is delicious but it is slightly overpriced. However, there is a menu at the entrance of every restaurant, so that you can decide if you want to eat there or not.
Ticket can be purchased from 12:30 pm on weekdays and the entry to the Culture Gully starts from 1:00 PM sharp. The ticket for the Culture Gully is priced at Rs. 500 for weekday afternoons and 750 for evenings. The ticket is the form of a smart card. The Rs. 500 is split into Rs. 100 as the entry fee, Rs. 350 as the money to be spent inside Culture Gully either buying things or massages or eating in a restaurant. The remaining Rs. 50 is refundable when you return the card. If you feel like buying something and you are out of money in your smart card, you can get it recharged by paying cash or using your Credit/Debit card at various locations in the Culture Gully. There are ATMs too inside.
All in all, i was very satisfied with the Kingdom Of Dreams. It is a different experience, and a must see.

i dont know what the above 8 or 10 people are fooling at.....i seriously did not enjoy that much.....1st a fall its a SMALL area wid people banging into u all the time....
if u bathe in money and do not know what to do with it then u can go......culture gully is a place where you get food from different states, yes they r good but the prices r four times the price anywhere......handicrafts sold there--either they are made from scrap items wid cost as much as a really gud 1 or.. really costly stuff......i never got to c the nautanki gully as the show was going on and i was tooo bored to wait.....the zangoora show costs about 1000-2000 for 2 n a half hours n magic show-750-1000!! for 1 n a half hours........
all in all no value for money....not at all woth it!!
i suggest u go to Ramoji film city in hyderabad whch is 1000 times better than this 1 n a day spent dere to rejoice

“Awesome under-roof multi cultural gallary”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2011

I am in Gurgaon for over 6 years now and Kingdome of Dreams for over a year now however did not visit it until couple of weeks back at my wife's insistence.

I must say it is a great place to visit for anyone at least once if not more. Great ethnic place- culture gully covering around 12 states their local products, vendors in local dresses for each state, local food counters for each state, a vernacular performance combining various state arts.

The artwork of each of the sculpture and for each of the state section is mind-boggling. Sitting area across the gully reminds me of some chowrasta (darjeeling) like sitting arrangement in the open (aritifical sky look of 6 pm at all times).

A great never forgettable experience in Gurgaon.

“Kingdom of Dreams- Fit for Kings!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2011

This is truly an amazing experience for any Indian as well as any person travelling to India from abroad.

Kingdom of Dreams has 'The Zangoora Show' which is an amazing experience of Indian culture. It is like seeing a movie being recorded. The dances, settings, acting everything is superlative making it amazing. The cost is Rs 750 on weekday and rs 1000 on weekend. Weekend also has many Indian artists like Hussain performing making it all the more better.

Also there is good food and beverages present. They have defined it by state to provide a mixture of different cuisines. The ticket allows you to buy food here and for rest you can shop in the handicrafts section
