“Flashiness and Poor Service - Highly Overpriced!”

For starters, i did not like the location of the hotel. Felt it to be too much of an interior in Gurgaon. One arrival at the hotel, got to see the flashiness of the property. The same flashiness being carried all over the property. The staff at the reception were very unfriendly and seemed to convey a very poor body language. One gets the message that they are doing clients a favor. The hotel rooms were small and the flashiness made it smaller. The furniture seemed completely out of place given the size of the room. Just imagine beautifully carved and heavy wooden furniture, that cannot be moved, in a small cramped room! Add to that decorative electrical fittings that serve little purpose. The Rest Room was spacious but the design completely flawed. Overall the lighting in the room was not up to the mark. Example, accessing the faucet in the wash basin is sure to cause severe back injury. The restaurant was nicely designed, but the food not up to the mark. The quality of food left much to be desired. The less said about the restaurant staff the better. Would recommend to stay here only if there are no better options.

I stayed here for a wedding. The hotel looks lovely inside and out. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a good shower and bathroom. Breakfast was included in our room rate, and there was a lavish spread with fresh fruits and yogurts, assorted pastries, hot Indian and western dishes, and cooked-to-order omelettes.

The reception staff are useless. The ones we encountered spoke little English and could not answer simple questions regarding taxis, transportation, or checkout. To be honest, I think they were just faking it because they didn't feel like helping us. We had the concierge book an English-speaking tour guide to take us around the city for a day, and he ended up dumping us in a taxi with a non-English-speaking driver who didn't know how to get to any of the tourist attractions.

During our stay, my white-skinned travel companion tried to extend our reservation by an extra 2 nights. The reception insisted that no rooms were available. 30 minutes later, my brown-skinned self requested an extra 2 nights, and it was done with no problem.

Finally, the drain in our bathroom was clogged and water flooded from the bathroom into the bedroom whenever we used the shower. The carpet was soaked during most of the stay. When we reported this to reception, they brought up a little fan heater to dry the carpet and said there was nothing else they could do.


Okay, one last thing -- I used a prepaid taxi to get from the airport to the hotel. It was considerably cheaper than calling a metered taxi or booking a hotel pickup. However, the prepaid taxi driver got terribly lost on the way to the hotel, so try to arrive equipped with a map or something if you go with this option.

The hotel was nice to stay,Warm welcomed by receptionist but they lack commitment.I booked single room with king side bed,but receptionist gave 2 beds room.They changed room then after my complaint.Then I booked a taxi in advance at morning,but suddenly at eleventh hour taxi did not came.Hotel staff were helpless then.I managed to book another taxi on my own using my own contacts at cheaper price than hotel taxi..The location is not nice.Bed was really very comfortable. Altogether it was a nice stay.with good restaurant which is flexible to open late hours at night.

Room Tip: If you want to see malls and nice location then don't book this hotel.This is far away from city...

I stayed here on my arrival in India and got a taxi there straight from Delhi airport.
The hotel offers free wifi. Unfortunately I nor the 'technical guy' in the hotel could get this working on my iphone. That was a bit of a disappointment. I stayed there in January when it was cold and my room was really cold...as were the communal parts of the hotel..the lobby the restaurant downstairs as the cold air comes straight in and the hotel is not heated.
When I rang reception to ask for a heater for my room as I was freezing a guy brought a fan heater with an extension cable with a dangerous loose connection which he took about 10 minutes to set up in the room. When it gave up the ghost he came back and repaired the plug which took another 10 minutes of him being in the room again to set up.
Breakfast OK. Room service OK but very small portion!!
2 gas masks provided next to the beds...just in case!! (Of what I'm not sure!!)
All in all OK but personally I'd look for different hotel in the same price category next time

We requested two rooms each with two beds.
Though they offered to pick us up from the airport, there was no driver waiting at the airport. We called and they said if we paid for a cab, they'd re-imburse us. The night manager was all apologies, "Oh our fault, our fault. This will be offered at check out."
The next day, the day manager decided not to honor the night manager (who was no longer in house) since we couldn't provide the email stating our time of arrival that was sent to the hotel.
The power went out in one of our rooms. The girls couldn't get ready and couldn't see in the dark and ended up putting their makeup on at the bar. No compensation was offered.
Of course one of the rooms had a king (two twins pushed together) and after 5 phone calls to the front desk (and one guy saying they couldn't fix it), they finally (reluctantly) changed it.
The rooms smell like mildew and smoke from outside.
They tried to say we drank beer from the (Hot) mini-bar. Had to argue the truth that we didn't.
Only perk was super hot water and service at the bar.
Worst customer service. Crappy dingy area. Would NEVER come back.

Room Tip: Avoid floors 6-8. You can hear the bar music on the 8th floor thumping.
