Wok on fire is the perfect marriage between Chinese ingredients and Indian flavors.
On a chilly winter day my wife had her usual chinese food hunger pangs, so fed-up of eating at Chung Faa and Kai Asia we decided to sample this new chinese restaurant. The set-up is a hybrid between and fastfood and a fast casual restaurant.
The layout is nice and it can sit about 30 odd people so probably not the place to host a big party.
You order the food at the counter/till but the food is served on your table. Though the restaurant was fairly busy our food arrived in under 15 minutes.
We went for some tossed mixed vegetable momos which came in a hot and sour gravy and tasted really nice and pukka Chinese.
We also ordered crunchy vegetables which is our go to dish at any Chinese eatery, and this one didnt disappoint. We also had Thai green curry which came with rice.
To end we had Choco lava rolls which is basically spring rolls which stuffed with chocolates instead of veggies. Its a kind of thing that you like if you are not to strict about the kind of desserts you like.
Overall the food was great, ambience and hygiene much better then a lot of Chinese place and also with reasonable pricing, the only thing that I didnt like was excessive use of only cabbad that pretty much came with all dishes...which is kind of boring.
But overall Wok on fire is our new favorite and we will visit again.
