Though it is located remotely from other attractions , it will be worthy for all your effort to reach there. Rightly called as acropolis of East . The garangutan size of the complex will leave you in awe. The efforts of local muslim org must be commended for refurbishing the complex. Happy to find our Kalam ji pic in the mosque kiosk. I yearned to go back to the times when the pond is brimmed with water , which is parched now. Sarkej roza is definitely a must visit to complete your Gujarat tour.

The Sarkhej roza mosque is a mosque cum tomb complex situated in the exteriors of Ahmedabad. This place is crowded in the evenings with almost the entire neighborhood visiting the place for the evening prayer or strolls. The people litter the place and are not maintaining this historical monument. Names scribbled on the walls just deteriorate the gg of the monument. What I enjoyed most was the walk around the structure which provides beautiful reflection of the monument. Take a stroll around the pond the evening if you can but beware its dirty and does smell at times.

A very resolute building that has withstood many climatic changes. Please visit if you are interested in history and architecture and have time on your way to Akshardham. One depends on google for information in most places in Gujarat. A guide in all the tourist attractions would be good.

An interesting place - a walk down history lane. Beautiful monument - great architecture - can be maintained and preserved better.
