The main reason for my stay at GOA was to celebrate my daughter's birthday and wanted to make it extra special. I had requested if the room can be decorated with the cake which the hotel management was more than happy to do the same. They even offered different decor themes to select from . Once we reached the hotel and enquired about the room decoration , i was greeted by Samira who has been very helpful in getting decor arranged by her team . The team did wonderful job and it made the trip extra special for my daughter. The food is very delicious with decent breakfast spread which normally comprises of South indian , North Indian , Poha and continental breakfast accompanied by Tea, coffee, fresh fruit, juices, lassi as well. If you are taking MAP plan then typically they offer fix menu comprising 3 course meal viz Soup , Starter, Roti , Sabji , Rice and Dal , Salad and Dessert. We were satisfied with the quality of food they prepared and took extra care to not make it much spicy for the kid as well. About the rooms - We had booked standard room 270 sq ft after looking at the photograph which looked spacious but we were bit disappointed with the slize of the room. We found it a bit lesser space .

However they got us complimentary upgrade to bigger room 330 sq ft which was lot more better . Since we had booked in middle of the week there were hardly guests during the time and management staff accepted our request to get the room upgraded compilatory. We really appreciate the gesture. We would like to thank Mr. Ram and one more lady (i am sorry i don't recall her name) for being very courteous and ensured we had comfortable stay .

Few quirky things we found which I would like to highlight and hopefully hotel management can take it as feedback.
1. When we first entered hotel the A/Cs in the reception area was switched off. It was hot during afternoon and we had to request them to switch it on while the check - in process was in progress.

2. Similar observation was when we entered restaurant for dinner where the A/c was switched off and no fans either. We had to request the staff to switch it on .
While we understand the hotel management would want to save on expenses however atleast the staff should switch on the ACs without waiting for customer to prompt them to do the same. Specially during summers when its hot in GOA.

3. Few of the housekeeping staff were not trained properly to talk to the customers. They need some training to do the same.

All in all the experience was good, food is delicious, the hotel rooms are comfortable .

The location of the hotel is also on main Candolim main street area and the beach is at 5 mins walking distance. There you will find many options for shacks to unwind in the evening .More
