The service was good, the atmosphere is outstanding, the mood lighting and decor of roofs give the appeal that you are outside. there are fountains and ponds and the tables are set on little stages so you are only near 2 or 3 other tables.
The food was also incredible, spicy as per my liking, but the flavour and quality was just outstanding. and each meal came with 3-5 condiments for dipping and sprinkling on your food to your taste.
Overall the experience was very enjoyable and I would highly recommend if you are nearby to pop in for a meal

We were planning our Sunday lunch at this place. We went there on Saturday evening asking them the timing - the manger told us that the last order would be taken at 3pm.

We went there at 230pm on Sunday evening to see the door closed. We went back to the entrance from inside Lemon Tree and spoke to the head waiter. He had the arrogance to tell us to leave because they are not taking any orders. No explanation no sorry nothing - one of the most rude staff I've ever met. Then we requested him to talk to the chef - the chef comes back saying " he won't cook " because it was too late. Then after five mins he also had the audacity to come and tell us " all the food is over". We were just shocked at the way the staff was talking to us. There was another guest who had come from far away and they behaved the same way with them even though the guests were very patient and waited for the chef to respond .

We then complained to the hotel manager - Mary I think her name is. She obviously apologised but didn't even have the courtesy to come and meet us face to face. She just spoke to us on the house phone and said I'm sorry.

It's shocking that a chain like Lemon Tree don't know the basic of customer service. In a tourist friendly place like Goa where hotels and cafes are open all day it's shocking they would take the last order at 230 that too after assuring us less than 24 hours ago that the last order was 3pm. The place is also unnecessarily expensive - there are so many shacks and cafes around that serve equally good food at better prices and with a smiling face.

The hotel itself looked badly maintained and was frightfully expensive. Again many better options to stay around and if you do want to spend so much on a hotel rather stay in one of the Taj properties near by - at least you are assured of good service in a Taj property. They are trained unlike these arrogant rude staff at Lemon Tree.

I'm going to talk to my office also to see what corporate tie up we have with them and raise this behaviour to the highest authority. Very very disappointing.

The surroundings were fine and service ok.The food was ok plenty of it but one in our party was ill advised by waiter and food too spicy hot.Offered to produce dish again without spice which it should have been in the first place!!!! The bill however was another thing the most expensive we encountered.A 4700 R bill ended up at over 6000R with add on's the only restaurant we found that did this.We would never eat there again.

The service was impeccable, we arrived around 6.30, which is before the dinner rush and were attentively seated and ordered cocktails. the atmosphere is outstanding, the mood lighting and decor of roofs give the appeal that you are outside. there are fountains and ponds and the tables are set on little stages so you are only near 2 or 3 other tables.
The cocktails were excellent, we had 2 each and they were all delicious, with hilarious names!
The food was also incredible, a little too spicy for my partners liking, but the flavour and quality was just outstanding. and each meal came with 3-5 condiments for dipping and sprinkling on your food to your taste.
Overall the experience was very enjoyable and I would highly recommend if you are nearby to pop in for a meal
