There were two large floors full of different sculptures, art (modern and dated) as well as textiles. It was 10 rps entry, plus 5 rps for a camera, took about 2 hrs to see everything at a semi-interested pace. I'm not very into art, but it was worth the time.

We visited Chandigarh because of him!
The centre is great! We learned so much! we enjoyed so much all the original plans and graphics and pictures! is very well displayed and a very harmonious space.
It was really great to see how much he contributed to this city. Actually from all the cities we visited in India this one was the most "proper" city of all. I could say that the government or the architecture community of the world could take better care for his buildings though. We felt that we travel far to see them and once you are standing in front of them they seemed a bit abandoned. Hey! they are historical gems!. Also surprised us how difficult was to find them. Chandigarh citizens don't seemed to be fully aware of Le Corbusier's contribution.
Look for his buildings! its worth it!

The centre of this nature on the history of the city in Chandigarh is one that should be attracting considerable tourism. However, it needs to be maintained better and the years of neglect shows.
The galleries could be better lit and particularly in winter, heating could be introduced.

Very informative. The place has been well maintained over the years. Every piece & the photograph from the era gone by has a story to tell. Loved it there. Felt like I was part of that historical time when Chandigarh was being planned. Super like it!!!
