We found the lady in sari at the reception of Hotel Daspalla to both at the time of check-inn as well as check-out to be highly unprofessional and untrained. We found room-service to be very bad. House-keeping was exceptionally good and all the members of House-keeping (irrespective of male or female) whom we came across looked very pleasant always with a smile on their face, well-trained, well-mannered. House-keeping persons kept the rooms tidy and changed all the linen daily.

The hospitality of Staff particularly that of Mr. Gopal was excellent. I would have not checked in if not spoken to him. However my decision of checking in at Dassapala The food was great. Will definitely come again in future.

Firstly, don't book the hotel on makemytrip. The hotel fare on makemytrip was 50% more than the fare if you book directly at the hotel. Secondly, the hotel property is quite old.. so you will see yellowish patches. The toilets were not totally spic and span. The food at the restaurant is ok. Don't try anything other than the south indian dishes. It's not their speciality
The rooms are very clean & good. The staff is very helpful and is prompt to requests. The breakfast and vegetarian restaurant had very tasty food. No need to eat anywhere else. Small swimming pool on the room can cool you during hot weather.
Very nice handicraft-craft store and other shopping in the neighborhood.
Surely will pick this hotel for next stay.
Two suggestions that could make the stay even better:
1. if a room has more than 2 guests, make sure your room cleaning staff knows that so that they leave extra towels in the room. Guest should not have ask every day.
2. if a guest says they are checking out.. offer to send bell boy.

The room was neat and clean. The furniture is of good quality. The customer service is good. The breakfast was just amazing. Lots of options and each option is really tasty. The rooms and common places were sanitised regularly.
