“Must Visit!”
Reviewed 28 June 2012

The Lotus Seat of Lord Vishnu - nuff said! - Very Scenic - almost a self contained hill station, has everything from airport to world class hospitals
I suggest booking a room with the temple management to stay on the mountains for at least a day!

“A true reciprocal to religion”
Reviewed 24 June 2012

When devotees decide to make the pilgrimage to Tripathi they expect long lines and heat. What they should now come to expect is abuse and life threatening violations of human rights. To be crowded is one thing, but to have a 9 year old little girl thrown to the ground and stepped upon is persecution. If that is the ambiance that they wish to offer I believe they are a century too late and would have fit in well in concentration camps. A long wait is what is to be expected but tone trapped in a prison cell like environment with no bottled water or other resources for people who can not handle unfiltered Indian water. Also I believe that the establishment was not meant to be an all or all situation. With no means of forfeit or exit, even a dying man or child could not exit the line. Then the worst situation would be the uncertainty how longis the wait. Entering at 11 in the morning we were assured 6 hours in hell was the penultimate peril, but they did not mention the riot in the temple nor the near suffocation of children. I myself was Beaton in the stomach by two "devotees" and when asking why I received the response Gooviinda. After 8 hours in the line I didn't even get to see them gods and cannot comment on it. In conclusion I ask is it worthit to go through hell to see a supposed glimpse of god. Is it worth to commit so many sins to commit one good deed. Though solution such as increased security and a staff that pays attention are available and the pilgrims would be ready to pay more for them, the donations all ago to a non distant management and so I wish good luck for anybody ready to go through such an ordeal for a hopeful glimpse of a statue.

“Blessed, Definitely”
Reviewed 20 June 2012

Tirumala temple reminds of the larger than life size Shree Balaji, huge crowds, never ending queues, yum laddos, freshly shaved heads.
Easily the most richest temples of the world, its a great wonder about the Queuing theories being adopted here and the never ending crowds who are always here - New Year, Diwali, Vacations and all 365 days.
We visit Tirumala almost each year atleast once, never seen the God in peace, but never felt more blessed.
Thats what happens when millions of devotees from all corners of India and the world wanted to have a darshan of Shree Balaji.
We climbed the hills which takes about 4 hours and the early morning ANGAPRADARSHANAM (roll on the floors to offer our prayers) at about 3 am with wet clothes.
A wonderful feeling to worship Shree Balaji this way.
These days, with a Rs.300 ticket which is easily available if reaching the temple before 12 noon - SEEGRA DARSHAN is a great boon to all devotees.
A must visit for all Hindus, as often as possible, atleast once each year - blessings of Shree Balaji are guaranteed.

“Just DIVINE!”
Reviewed 13 June 2012

People visit Tirupati mainly to visit Tirumala Temple only. It is an absolutely divine experience being their and having the DARSHANS of LORD TIRUPATI BALA JEE!

One must have at least 02 days to have comfortable darshans still the queue is so long that normally it takes at least 5 -6 hours once you start in the queue there.

A must visit for every one!
