We did not stay in the hotel, but while staying for a couple months with friends who live nearby, we visited the Taj Krishna frequently to dine or meet friends. They have a beautiful pool area, wher the sounds of the streets out beyond the walls can not be heard at all...a plus in our book, as the hotel is on a busy intersection. The dining room food is excellent, but we were sometimes eaten by mosquitoes (indoors) while enjoying our meals. They have a great singer currently, Sanya, who sings in their bar/lounge several evenings/week. The bar is overpriced, but Sanya makes it worth a stop as her song selection and voice are great. The Friday evening BBQ, while by Indian standards is a bit pricey, is marvelous food, including all you can eat of dozens of types of fish, seafood, chicken, and steaks cooked both in western and Indian methods, plus desserts, beverages, and all the sides too. It is served outside near the pool in a lovely setting. Yummy stuff...go there and do the BBQ one night. You will enjoy it.
