A nice little homestay run by a charming family. Stayed in the basement room for a 1000 bucks. Dont expect hotel style acco and you won't be disappointed. Basics in place and a wonderful host/family that makes you welcome. Tip: Suggest having your meals there as far possible. The breakfast is really amazing. Also to keep her happy call it Andaman HomeStay :)

Room Tip: Dont fret too much over non A/c setup. The weather is often decent but if heat sensitive then ask for a room with an inverter for fan

Thankyou Vikram, hope to see more of you, the room you stayed in was a part of flat no.2 on the ground level (not basement), the building is on a steep slope, hence both levels have separate gates.

Extremely Neat and clean house and hospitable hosts. The food preparation is amazing. Must stay here if with family or friends, good for all types of groups. Well located and moving around is no issue from this place.

The homestay is just right for a day stop over at Port Blair- catch the sound and light show, a trip to volcanic mudflats, ross island before heading off to Havelock or Neil. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable, the lady who cooks meals is great- try her fish curry full dinner - its great.

Room Tip: Well located

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Noble's Homestay during our recent visit to Andamans. Located 15 mins from airport at Lillipur Hadoo Warf is centrally located to various places of interest at Port Blair. Mrs Noble and het son Shiraz are very friendly and helpful. They helped me in fixing my itinerary few months before we reached. Not many homestay owners go out of the way to help in my experience. For people who really understand and prefer home stays than star hotels and resort, this is the place to stay. The rooms are basic, spacious and clean and well maintained. For people who are addicted to social media and internet, this is not a place to stay. The caretaker also provides decent meals provided we intimate them couple of hours before. Being first timers to Andamans, Shiraz really helped us in sorting out the necessary permits for various islands, ferry tickets and providing alternatives due sudden weather change. They love to chat and we thoroughly enjoyed the conversations. Special thanks to Majid who took care of our local transportation. He was very resourceful, prompt and went out of our way to make our stay comfortable. Tanaz Noble (Shiraz's sister) runs a kayaking adventure activities at Havelock island. 2 hours of kayaking in sea and amidst the mangroves was breathtaking and experience of a lifetime. Don't miss this if you plan to go to Havelock. Overall a very positive and wonderful experience during our stay at their home stay. Big thanks to Mrs Noble and Shiraz for all the help during our stay.

Thankyou for the very encouraging review, we do our best, but very often people use this space to complain, and very rarely in detail give the good points, we try to improve on our good points as well so that our guests can benefit from what we can provide. We do have Wifi facility at a nominal price.

The family was accommodating and helpful, but the rooms need attention. There is no A/C and no coffee maker in the room. Roof top is available if you want to BYOB and hang out in the evening, but you have to walk through the family home. That feels odd.The windows have bars on them. Next time, we will pay a little more to stay at SeaShell and overlook the bay and have tropical drinks and relax Island style vs staying in town.

Room Tip: Don't get a room next to the road. Noisy. Wifi is turned off at night even tho you pay for it. Internet is very sketchy. Take some Raid.

Your flat was under the transition to A/c, hence under rennovation and you were offered to stay elsewhere for the period, but since the rest of the group was happy with the accomodation, you chose to stay here and we did our best to ensure you had a comfortable stay. Not to forget this is a "homestay" and all homes have a limitation on security, hence we all put grills/ bars (old house) on our homes in India. We cannot have a bar/restaurant in a homestay without liscence. In fact I would like to know if there are any homestays with this facility. It is unfair to conpare us to a hotel, where the living space is half of what you had, at three times the price you paid. We will be directly connecting the terrace to the homestay guests so that they do not pass host rooms, but so far we have not minded it, as our guests are always welcome in our space for interaction,
