Arrived home this morning after a week without the kids! First time we had left them but what a great place to spend it.

Arrived in eve to cool drink and face fannel, nice touch. Shown room 3107. Requested a room near relax and reception, exactly what we got! Hammock outside terrace and spotless room with huge shower.

Spent most days at relax pool little Mohammed was brilliant as were the in water loungers.

Evenings spent at caribean bar Sameh and Hany were great and waited on us constantly. Meet some lovely couples.

Ate every night in Italian and loved the Gypsy Kings Female Gatiarist :)

Slides were good fun and reef was amazing.

Will definitely return!!!! Thank you for a wonderful welcoming stay!

Just returned from our second visit to this beautiful hotel and what a wonderful time we had yet again. The staff cannot do enough for you and we would like to pass our special thanks to Ahmed and Akram in the Bay View Restaurant who recognised us from our previous visit and looked after us so well. The grounds are immaculate and even the gardeners who work so hard in such heat will always say hello, one of them even gave a flower he was tending to to my 18 year old daughter to brighten her day.

The pools are wonderful, there is always plenty of room around all of them and we noticed the mattresses had been replaced this year on the sun beds, all of which were in perfect working order, which hasn't always been the case in other hotels we have visited.

The rooms were spotless and the air conditioning was a god send, we had a problem with ours on our second night but after 1 quick phone call an engineer was at our door within minutes and fixed it straight away, there were no further problems with it for the rest of our stay.

The mini fridges are re stocked daily with water, we left a note asking for an extra bottle which we received promptly. Vouchers are also given to exchange for a choice of soft drinks in the shop.

This year we mainly ate in the Bay View which is the main buffet style Restaurant. There are numerous nationalities staying at the hotel and there is a wide selection of food to suit all palates. There is a huge choice of breads and a large dessert section. My daughter is an extremely fussy eater and never went hungry. Our glasses were never empty thanks to the hard working waiters.

We also had 2 lovely meals in the Italian Al Dente Restaurant.

My husband and I both got upset stomachs whilst here but this is no reflection on the hotel, we went from 12 degrees at home to 40 degrees, it is hardly surprising that our bodies had an adverse reaction to this. We attended the on site pharmacy and were given some 'magic pills' which sorted us out within 24 hours.

Our only negative experience during the holiday was a trip we were sold by the dive club. It was a snorkelling trip where we were told we would see mangroves, a lake which changes colour and an island which sometimes disappears depending on the tide. We were told there would only be snorkellers from our hotel, however this trip turned out to be a diving trip for people who were doing diving certificates with the hotel. There were 3 stops where the divers entered the water first, then the snorkellers, after the first stop when we got back on board, the boat was stopped for quite a while and this was because the divers had to have 1 hour between dives. Many of us suffered with bad sea sickness during this stop which I didn't recover from during the rest of the trip. The staff on board were very helpful towards me and gave me a tablet and tried to make me feel comfortable. This trip cost 50 euros each and quite frankly wasn't worth the money, we didn't see any of the things mentioned to us. However, I must say that another party with us complained to management who apologised and offered them a free snorkelling by night experience, we couldn't do this as we were due to fly home.

I do feel that the management listen to people's concerns and do their best to rectify any issues.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it's a jewel :)

Dear Guests,
Thank you for your wonderful review of our hotel, we were happy to hear that we met with your expectations. It was disappointing to hear that your boat trip was not as anticipated but unfortunatly we have no control over excursions. We very much hope that you will consider staying with us again, and wish you all the very best from staff at ROBB.

My partner and I stayed from the 20th June for ten days and had such an amazing time! After our short transfer from the airport, we arrived at the hotel and received our welcome drink and we were taken to our room with our luggage in a golf buggy we couldn't believe the size of the hotel there was so much to do and see!

Our room was clean and spacious we had booked a standard room but were told as we were checking out that it was actually a superior room. I wish we had known! We had towel art on the beds thanks to Ahmed our cleaner who was so helpful and even gave us some washing powder when it was needed!

I enjoyed swimming and each day i would try a different pool, the relax pool was the best and it was so close to the bar to get our drinks! The staff are so friendly, we also spent time at the infinity pool, and really enjoyed the jacuzzis overlooking the sea, The waterslides at the leisure pool were also fun! We used the gym which was good but my partner was told on the 1st day he wasn't allowed in as he only had canvas trainer pumps, the day after I saw 2 women with a similar style shoe who were using the gym and they had been allowed to come in which I didn't think was fair.

We ate at the kebabgi a few nights the food was just lovely this was our favourite place to eat, a special mention to ali who looked after us no matter what time we came in. We also ate in the bay view a few nights there was just so much variety there especially the cakes and ice cream! At breakfast time we chose to sit outside but struggled to see anyone on some mornings to order our coffee and when we did receive our drink on 2 days the milk had been off but the staff were so friendly they changed it straight away!
After our evening meal we would drink in the carribean bar rooftop terrace it was so relaxing and such a lovely atmosphere, I enjoyed dancing on the dancefloor after a few cocktails!

A special thank you to weol in reception who was just so friendly and helpful and the best! We will be booking to come back next year as the hotel grounds and facilities are just amazing and the staff are lovely.

We stayed here for 11 nights mid June - Our first visit to ROBB, but not our first to Egypt, we would love to return. This hotel is definately our favourite. The staff are the warmest, frendliest, helpful and genuine people we have come accross, without them this complex would not be what it is, from the gardiners to the management team. If you have a problem then in our experience talk to the management and it will get sorted. We emailed ahead of our visit about two family celebrations, we were delighted to receive complimentary cakes, fruit and biscuits.
Booking the a la carte restaurants was easy, guest relations team were so friendly. Eating in these venues was a refreshing change to the main buffet style restaurant - Bay View, In the Bay view the food here was delightful with plenty of choice every day with different tasting food and special theme nights, the food was always hot no matter what time you chose to eat and well presented.
Drinks can be a bit slow but the waiters are working flat out, nobody in this complex does not work hard. Our favourites were two Mohammeds, one a waiter and the other served ice cream to my youngest daughter most evenings ( in the Bay Veiw restaurant).
There are plenty of pools to choose from apart from the beach our favourite was the leisure pool with the slides, enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Sun beds, with cushioned matresses were aplenty no matter what time of day ( although the hotel was certainly not full) and adequate parasols too. Special mention to Ibrahim (towel/ sun bed attendant ) and Sameh and Mohammed the waiters who worked here - they were all great.
The toilet attendant at the beach also needs a special mention who always has a beautiful display of floral art and spotless toilets. At the beach you can paddle in designated areas with fish swimming around your legs or snorkell off the pontoon.
Evening entertainment - the animation team work really hard with limited resources to entertain multiple nationalities and always have a following of young children, OK so they are not ready for Broadway yet but also work really hard, enjoy themselves and are really nice young people who want their guests to have fun.
There are lots of places to chill in the evening from the Pub, to the outside terraces or in the air conditioned reception area where there is free Wifi.
We had a family room 4131 which was so spacious with 2 separate bathrooms, it was very clean, bathrooms need some TLC but they are very well used but are very well cleaned. Our room cleaner did a great job, nothing too much trouble with some fantastic towel art.
The complex operates a bus service called the tuff tuff which runs continuoulsy around the complex, great idea.
There is also a shuttle bus to Namma Bay but unfortunately I was poorly so we had to cancel.
Negatives - having to pay for additional food at the a la carte restaurants, fresh fruit juices and not having complementary ice cream during the day.
During a discussion with the Resident Manager we agreed that you cannot please all the people all of the time but... they are trying to meet the needs of all their guests and are open to suggestions and do want the feedback of their guests.
We loved this resort. All in all a great place to go, try it for yourself !

Room Tip: Dont be afraid to contact the hotel with special requests, they do try to accomodate. We were in Rm 4131 and this was a family room ( which was very spacious and comfortable), close to the relax pool and a reasoable distance to pools, restaurants and the beach.
