We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. We had a gorgeous room with a huge shower, brilliant air-conditioning, VERY comfy beds and a hammock and chair on the balcony.
The owner was so, so warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was so lovely in a cool and comfortable outdoor setting.
The Galapagos Suites are brilliantly situated too, as they are only a short walk to many bars and restaurants.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place and if I was lucky enough to find myself back in the Galapagos, I'd definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Galapagos Suits is a first class operation. I feel sorry for travelers who visit a country and spend a week in a 5 star hotel on a beach. They miss out on experiencing first hand the beauty of the culture, the town, and most important, the people. Joceline lives on site at this gem in the middle of the city but a half block from the touristy stuff. The location let's you feel like a local while giving you a super clean, super comfortable and spacious room, an oasis really in the bustle of Puerto Ayora. We loved her plants, landscaping, interior and exterior decorations, the calm and tranquility one hope for but rarely gets. Joceline was so kind and so helpful that we have no words other than a sincere thank you for making our stay so nice. She answered every question patiently with excellent advice and bent over backwards to help whenever she could. One night I just left the hotel and walked for a few hours all over the city and enjoyed watching the children play, young lovers walking hand in hand, families laughing, friends eating out, soccer games, and a whole host of wonderful sights just passing through the warmth and joy of Gallapagos culture. It's amazing to see so much human interaction and so many smiles when there is no movie theater, limited cell service, and no 7,000 square foot mansions for people to hibernate in. How life used to be. Thank you Galapagos islands and especially thank you Galapagos Suites for a wonderful stay I would never stay anywhere else. We even got a hug from Joceline upon departure. Simply the best!!

A lovely and really friendly little hotel. It's in a perfect location - quiet but central, within easy walking distance of the seafront, shops and restaurants. The room was clean and a good size, and breakfast was delicious. What more can you ask? I'd highly recommend it.

There are many places to stay in Puerto Ayora, but I'm sure none have paid such attention to detail as Galapagos Suites. Our room and the entire property was immaculately clean and well maintained. The customer service was fantastic, from our arrival until our departure. Josy was efficient and prepared a hot breakfast for us each morning, which included a tasty local treat.

This small family run establishment has a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the harbor. The crisp, clean hotel is behind a wall with a small, pretty courtyard garden in front where breakfast is served.
We stayed here the night before a 7 day diving liveaboard trip. The ground floor king room with wheel chair access was great for rolling in our dive bags. The room faced the garden yet was a bit to the side with plenty of privacy. The high-ceilinged room had the usual amenities - a safe, reasonable storage, hair dryer, adequate outlets for charging, but no coffee and tea service. We were, however, able to get coffee at the breakfast buffet. The Wi-Fi connection was very slow but the owner warned of this and said it was typical for Puerto Ayora. Although there was a bit of noise during the day, the room was quiet at night.
Note that checkout is at 9a.m. Our pickup wasn’t until 11:30 and they let us use the room until 10.
Breakfast, served 6:30 to 8, is adequate. A small buffet with one kind of yogurt, granola, toast and way too sweet banana bread. Fresh juice and a small fruit plate followed by a second small dish - a rather bland plantain tortilla served with a slice of Velveeta cheese was served to our table.
