The food slaps. This black owned seafood and soul food restaurant is 10/10 delicious. Fyi It’s a little bit salty but the flavor profile is amazing. You feel like Big Mama cooked this food to perfection in her kitchen in the back. It is made to order, so depending on how busy they are you may need to wait a little bit. Whether you dine in or take out, the food comes in take out containers so it is definitely not a fine dining experience. They do offer a BYOB cork service which is pretty nice. I’m assuming our cashier was the chef/waiter/busboy/owner/and Army Veteran. I truly am so thankful for his service. The next time I am in Atlantic City will definitely stop here again

I regretted having any lunch when I could not finish all my green beans or collard greens, but I devoured my fried whiting and the cornbread. This absolutely hit the spot. Great people helped us, various things on tv, but the vibe inside is bright and happy. Will be back our next visit because this was seriously good food. Thank you so much for a great meal, and please forgive the inability to finish those perfect sides
