We stayed one night after arriving in BAQ. We had a car take us here, about 2 1/2 hours.
Room was large and nice Great view out the back. The room has no AC. We were told there was hot water but found none, even when letting the water run for a bit. Gave up. No problem. Other rooms had even better views.
We were the only Americans. The other couples there were from Germany and other mostly European countries. They were all very friendly and helped us with the Spanish. The staff spoke a little or no English at all. We felt totally welcome. The food was very good served family style on two big tables.
Came back after a full day of hiking covered with mud and sweaty. We had checked out but they allowed us to shower and change and use the room again, which was very convenient.
Overall, highly recommended especially if you’re spending time at Tayrona national park or in that area.More
