This is a place to have a gastronomic, culinary and "alcoholic" experience. Please go there with a complete clear mind and not judging by previous experiences or standards. This is not the place to grab a bite on the go, or have a quick lunch on a workday, no! The place in itself is very sober on the decoration. Everything has a meaning and connection to the Amazonas. I was expecting a "jungle decoration", but not. I liked the place and specially the terrace.
The menu it's not easy to understand, and it's a work in progress (to make it easier to manage). For people who are not familiar with amazónic cuisine, and products, takes time to understand the dishes and the drinks. After you come to terms with the menu and learn a lot about Amazonic products, the real experience and wonder starts!!!
Cocktails are fantastic! The use of spices, herbs and condiments on the cocktails, make them a unique alcoholic experience! I strongly recommend the Mojito.
I had the Atacuari sample menu. It has 8 gastronomic experiences, with 13 to 15 different flavours. Special mention to the chicharrón de pirarucu, leche de tigre and "ant pepper". The combination and explosion of flavours make this a remarkable experience! Suitable for adventurous people and to entertain people who wants food out of the ordinary. Some dishes and cocktails have concepts from molecular gastronomy... an interesting take, but that adds no determination to my palate, but a very spectacular and entertaining show.
Service is outstanding, with waiters ready to help you to master the concepts and prompt to repeat (even several times) the menu composition. Every dish is served with an explanation and history. I really liked that!
If you have time, are into gastronomic experiences (rather than simply eat), and have an "adventurous" palate, this is your place! I would return, as they have a lot of things that I want to taste.

Excellent restaurant with very exotic food from a special part of colombia, amazonic area. I recommend asking for the "plato la chagra" excellent dish where you can try excellent ceviche with amazonic fruits and shrimp pounded with Amazon flour

The menu needs a little getting used too. It explains everyting you don't know. Believe me, you don't know a thing. And its a welcoming surprise to all the regular stuff around. Felipe is the best waitor and explains every dish you order. It is a flavour exploision... Things we never tasted before. Awesome experience... Recommend it to everyone.

The experience was exceptional, the waiter was amazing, he explained well all the dishes in Spanish and English, very nice and friendly.

Food presentation was beautiful and delicious, cocktails were exotic and had great taste.

I loved the restaurant as a different option to eat in Medellin.
