This is a lovely Catholic Church in the heart of Ningbo, just at the point where the three rivers converge. We found it a beautiful and peaceful spot at the end of the ‘party zone’ called the Ningbo new Bund. The church is now refurbished and looks lovely. The outside is architecturally interesting give this is a ‘cultural misfit’ in a China. It only takes 10 mins to walk there across Xinjiang Bridge and takes 30 mins to appreciate. Worth a quick visit.

This church is located at the end of Ningbo old bund, at the river's confluence (check map carefully before you go). Currently it is under reconstruction after a fire and whole building area is enclosed, but the watchman will allow you to enter and see the church.
Church itself is beautiful and it is worth a visit.

Located by the river near one of the big bridges. Actually area around the church is under construction, so it looks messy. Church inside is nice and simple. Masses in Chinese language are each Sunday.
That was my first object I saw during my visit in Ningbo.
At night the church is nicely light up.

This church is very pretty and it makes for some really nice pictures especially in the morning with the sun rise. We have not attended service here because, as far as I know, they are only in Chinese. However, it is worth seeing.

An interesting contrast to the city. The church itself is quite compact and is often used as a photo shoot background for wedding photographs. Good to see if you happen to pass by the area (next to The Bund area of Ningbo, where many bars and restaurants are located).

I visited on a Sunday at 9am. There are two Catholic Churches this one in the older bund area. The other is more central in town and has the English service. At this church the service is held behind the church so you must walk around toward the river to find it. Chinese worship service was full of friendly faces and it was a nice visit for me. After this service was over I ended up walking downtown 25 minutes for the other church's English service. Both churches are full of great welcoming people.

I am sorry to report that this church suffered a major fire in August 2014 and is now closed. I have been a frequent visitor thanks to my business travel to Ningbo (and have been an
honorary member of the choir!) But, alas, the building has been seriously damaged.

Catholics can attend an English language Mass at the Ningbo cathedral, in central Ningbo.

I do not yet have the details on the schedule.

The church is at the far end of the old Bund area nestled among old Shikumen house. The church is currently undergoing renovation and you need to take care going in. We were the on a Sunday and there is english mass at 10:30. Fortunately renovations in China happen very quickly so I expect in another year it will be finished getting a face lift.

Very nearby you can get a glimpse of old architecture in the Bund area. But you need to look closely to find the original stone work that has now been surrounded with replica.
