Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter. The lobby is lovely however our room was a little on the small side and the carpet was stained. We found that at breakfast food items were not replenished. So even though we were there at 8.00 am lots of things had run out and we had to ask for them to be refilled (this happened on 2 out of 3 mornings). The hotel is not really close to anything so would probably stay somewhere else if we returned to Chengdu. Like a previous reviewer we ended up eating at McDonalds one night.

Very pretty, comfortable hotel. Lavish silk bed coverings, comfortable beds and baths. Very nicely kept hotel with good breakfasts. This hotel is located fairly close to the airport. We enjoyed our stay there.

Clean and comfortable hotel situated near a few shops and chemist. Breakfast was good but could have been more selection and dinner in hotel could have been more flavoursome and spicey as it was a little bland, found the food in local restaurants much better. Staff very polite and friendly. Room 715 had 2 large comfortable single beds and TV plus bar, kettle and 2 complimentary bottles of water. Bathroom had a bath with shower over along shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and moisturising lotion.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a tour group. The staff was friendly enough and hotel clean so it was fine (especially for the reported price) but if we were back in Chengdu I wouldn't stay here again. Why? Primarily the location....it is not near anything. Even our guide couldn't recommend any close by restaurants that he thought would be good for us. There is a McDonalds about 3 blocks away which ended up being where we ate dinner. Also there is a big grocery about 4 blocks away but very little else around to choose from. The beds were comfortable and the morning buffet decent with a fair amount to choose from but not as good as the Crowne Plaza in Beijing or Sheraton in Xian. Most of the staff did not speak English and most of those who could struggled with some basic communication. I don't expect everyone to be fluent but I expect the front desk staff to have the ability to answer a few general questions in English. getting an extra pillow sounds easy but trying to get someone to understand that request was hard.

We stayed for four nights, the hotel is a good 4 Star hotel and comfortable for touring. The two restaurants in the hotel are ok, particularly the Korean restaurant was good. Would stay again but only if a shorter stay as the hotel is not located near other restaurants or shopping areas and after long days on tours we wanted a quick meal close by. We did walk to a hotpot restaurant one night was well worth the 20 minute walk and half the cost of the hotel restaurants.
