Description: Imagine a theatre play where the cooks perform as your personal chefs and cook every meal to meet the requirements of your very own taste buds. This interactive dining concept, successfully launched in key international gateway cities like Hong Kong, Singapore, Kula Lumpur, Sydney and Shanghai, has now made its first appearance in Dalian. i Café, warm and cosy but contemporary in decor, is the trademark of the innovative Hong Kong interior design house, Steve Leung Designers. The restaurant appeals with warm organic earth tones and textures and modern granite food cooking stations. The outdoor garden, which can be seen through the large glass facade running through the entire restaurant, will continue to add natural views and serenity to the restaurant’s ambience. With a seating capacity of 186, i Café is located on level one. i Café opens daily from 6 a.m. to midnight and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as à la carte orders. The interactive cooking dining arena with six “action packed” cooking stations, serve local Dalian seafood, deli, noodle, stir-fried, barbecue, ice cream teppan and wonderful desserts. Together, the cooking stations create a vibrant visual impact and sense of anticipation among guests. A private dining room for 12 guests provides the perfect venue for special occasions and important business meals.

I was staying at the Shangri La and breakfast was included. Good spread though maybe not as extensive as many others in the chain. As a westerner I could still find a decent breakfast.

Free wifi for all. Nice ambiance.

Honestly, I've been to so many restaurant buffets in Dalian and XiangGe LiLa Buffet is so average. If you want a good buffet, go to the Hilton that just opened two years ago. This Buffet is extremely overpriced and it's so average because you could get really amazing and delicious food outside.

Not been to buffet for a while and will be sometime before I return, questionable International buffet, food quality not good. This restaurant would have been so busy a few years ago, now you can sit where you want. I doubt it would have made any profit the Saturday night we went since there were never more than a dozen people in restaurant. If you stay long enough you get to eat with hotel staff who started sitting down an hour before restaurant closed. A wonderful 3 star experience.

Great selection and great tasting food. The buffet offers a selection of Western and Asian food from mild to spicy, so most palettes can be satisfied.
