“good for budget”
Reviewed 24 March 2012

If you are on a tight budget, but want to try all the different kinds of snacks to fill up your stomach, this is the place. However, don't go on a rainy day as you have to walk outdoors to choose all these snacks. If you are looking for decent restaurants, try Wuhan Tian Di

“Tourist trap, but still fun”
Reviewed 19 January 2012

Overrated, overcrowded, and you have to know what to eat where. You get better breakfast food in small streets around Hankou and Wuchang

“Fun to visit this place”
Reviewed 1 December 2011

Can get there on foot from the Yellow Crane Tower. We just walked down this famous food street. Our daughter ate the street food, but we only looked, not wanting to get sick.

“Go with an empty stomach”
Reviewed 23 October 2011

There were so many shops and stalls, so many different selections. The best is to go with a whole bunch of people, and you can graze on this and that. This is like a buffet with varied pricing. You go in with an empty stomach, and come out with one that is full.
