Let's start with the only good point; the rates are reasonable.
Now here are the ugly facts about the lair;
1. Horrible service. If you meet this front desk male mainlander by the name of John. (Didn't see his last name), you will know what a low class, disgusting reception is all about. This male, will make you feel like you are a vagabond seeking free shelter at the hotel. I am well travelled, been to 30+ countries, stayed at hotels of different stars grading. This place is absolutely the worst!!

2. Smoke smoke everywhere! We specifically asked for a non-smoking floor. But we saw other mainlanders smoking in their rooms, with the doors opened. In our room, it has an odour that do not go away. We figure the cigarette smoke has permeated into the couch set, the beds, the table, chairs and every fabric. The 2-night stay was literally hell for us non-smokers.

3. We asked for a refill of 1 roll of toilet paper when it ran out. Room service grilled us with questions like; 'you sure it is finished.' 'Why you use so fast?' 'Cannot ask for extra you know?' OMG! for just 1 roll of toilet paper!?

4. There are houseflies in the room! It is air-conditioned with all windows shut tight. How and where did the houseflies come from? And those are big nasty, greenish houseflies that fly with a light buzzing sound.

We really regretted picking this place to stopover. If you still have a choice, do think twice.

Is spacious room with living room and kitchen. Price are quite reasonable but the room is too run down and carpet is very dirty.

Bed is too hard. No rain shower but the room are all installed with universal power point. No tissue given in the room.

The staffs are not friendly and helpful at all. Unable to communicate in English as well

1. Staffs are not friendly neither rude.
2. Good area near dongmen shopping market.
3. Métro is connected to hotel , very convenient!
4. Room rates are reasonable for a very spacious room but old interior / furnitures.

Overall Nothing great but nothing bad

The only downside to this hotel is a lack of heaters. The AC unit only pumps out cold air. This is especially undesirable during the winter months. On the flip side, the hotel does provide an additional blanket for you. It's in the cabinet underneath the television.

However, aside from this one major downside, one can't argue with the convenience of having a subway station nearby (underneath the shopping center adjacent to the hotel).

Moreover, the staff is courteous. The shower pressure is impeccable. Plenty of hot water. Rooms are clean. Overall environment is tranquil. There's a mini fridge. A functional blow drying unit in the bathroom that can help you keep warm during those brutal winter days.

Overall, I'd stay here again, but if I were to stay for an extended period of time, I'd opt to buy a portable electric heater.

This hotel is starting to get a bit old but everything worked. The room was a suite and was a decent size. The bed was hard, but that's normal for China. The restaurant was fine with a good selection of food to suit local and western appetites, The Metro station is underneath the hotel, so couldn't be better. Local small supermarkets are easily accessible. Good value for money and would stay here again.

Room tip: Highre room, less street noise.
