After a break of some months I was finally able to return to the Shekou Hilton. I am always so happy to receive such a warm welcome from the staff - especially from Aileen and her team who are so helpful and always make me look forward to every visit. Special thanks also go to Elina, Kino and Kenina who make me feel so at home at the end of a busy day.
The Hilton has a wonderful position on the Shenzhen bay with views of the ocean from the lobby, the club lounge and most of the rooms. The Shekou Seaworld is nearby which is also great for dinner later in the evening. I would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting for business or for leisure !!

Overall it's probably the best business trip experience I had in 2020 at Shenzhen and the executive lounge manager Aileen makes it enjoyable. As soon as they know my Diamond member status, I was guided to the lounge for check in and Aileen explains the upgrade options so that I chose the suite at the Nanhai Wing. The room itself is in good size and condition with the nice ocean view and it is very quiet most of the time. The happy hour at the lounge (main wing) is superb, they have several hot dishes, soup, fruits and dessert and the staff are all very welcoming and trying to help. Location wise, it is in decent walking distance to the sea world and shopping center where you can find lots of good food. So I am looking forward to my next stay!
