Other reviews tell the story so I just add a couple comments. As with most hotels renovation is ongoing so you can pay more and get the newer rooms or less and get the older ones. Its often full due to conferences booked long in advance, so even though I booked a month in advance I had to move next door to the a 3 star hotel for two days and return after the conference.
Food and service and staff top quality as you expect of IHG(international hotel group) and of course you get best rates and options if you are an IHG member. Good restaurants but you can walk just a couple minutes to restaurants, and shops with groceries and fruits.
Gym and pool in building next door accessible from ground floor or as I recall the 4th floor also. medium size indoor pool and small gym with shower room/lockers, but both ok provided you don't go during busy times as they are public facilities and lots of non hotel guests have memberships. 4 or 5 star depending on your tastes.More
