The hotel has an overly rustic feel with basic amenities lacking or worn out. The toilet seat was wobbly, missing one screw and sliding 3 inches laterally every time you mounted it, the tub had a convex bottom that provoked slipping, the room with no power outlets, the wi-fi insecure, the noise of garbage dumping and collection coupled with dismal views insufferable. The food had absolutely no taste or seasoning at the restaurant, the beer was warm and the coffee was cold and tasteless. The bar had literally hot cocktails that probably came out of a bottle, or, more likely, a box.

The staff indifferent with blank stares directed at computer terminals, where they were unable to find any answers to your questions, if you were unfortunate enough to come up with any.

Luckily, we limited our stay and transferred to Dreams hotel, where they apparently knew what they were doing.

Dear Guest,
We usually do not receive such negative reviews, but if they arrive, as in this case, we would like to know more about your experience in order to correct the situations that determined an unpleasant experience in our hotel.

Please, if you are willing, write me to gerencia@hotelreydonfelipe.com with details of your stay, such as the date you stayed with us and your room number.

We stayed for 2 nights, and really found the place well-run and professional. Breakfast was fine, nowhere near the poor quality as several people said. Surroundings occasionally a little spartan, and a bit of traffic noise, but ok.

This hotel has an authentic feel, while also being modern, warm, clean and friendly. I'd definitely stay here again. Breakfast was nice, and I was able to have a nice vegetarian meal for my dinner. I didn't use the gym. The hotel booked a transfer from the airport for me - the driver was ready and waiting despite the plane being early to land.

We stayed two nights. The room was large, clean and well serviced. There is a small bar (never saw anyone in there) and a large breakfast/dining room. Breakfast was great, buffet with all the trimmings. Overall it was a comfortable, well decorated hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The Punta Arenas restaurant and bar area was about five minutes walk away.

The hotel was our base for travel into and out of Torres del Paines as well as a day trip to Tierra del Fuego
Wonderful staff who took the extra measure to assist with our travel connections
The location is easy walk to downtown, money exchange, museums etc
Reasonable pricing with a small bar and restaurant with very good meals cooked to the local cuisine ( beef lamb crap and potatoes)
