We rocked up on a Wednesday at 10:45pm and, although the kitchen was on the brink of closing, we were welcomed warmly with a smile and attentive service. Food hit the spot. Simple home cooked fare. Yummy homemade biscuits and delish fresh salad to accompany our fish dishes. Yum! The traditional music playing on the stereo made it even more charming. Great way to start our Patagonia adventure!

I was brought to Raices de Chiloe by a local after they'd heard my desperate cry for local food. It was perfect. Family-run, with traditional meals and reasonable prices. I ordered the stew, and the stock was packed with flavor and portions were good. I'd definitely return if back in Puerto Natales!

On a chilly day in Puerto Natales, the cazuelo de vacuno hit the spot. You'll find others ordering it, too. The restaurant is open during the afternoon when others are closed.

If you seat down in front of the main window you can enjoy your meal looking people going up and down the street.
The stuff was very helpful giving me advices about what to order. Fish is fresh and delicious. If you have never been to Chiloé Island you should definitely try the curanto here.
Highly recommended.

This little place has a nice cosy atmosphere. They serve the same dishes as everyone else in town but do them a little better. Great comfort food, try the Salmon a lo Pobre
