Great concept mixing African recipes and Patagonian local products!
We arrived with low expectations and we were very surprised by the quality and flavors!
The service was excellent and people very very nice!
Overall a great restaurant at the end of the world!!!

Took their medium cooked salmon and got food poisoned. I was extremely sick all night which is very far from what I expect from a restaurant with such prices (or from any kind of restaurant to be honest!!)

After 3 days in Torres Del Paine, we were ready for a culinary reward.
Afrigonia is on the main strip, not far from the Plaza Del Armas.
The decor is simple, modern and stylish.
The food was of a similar nature and very well cooked and presented.
The Lamb with Port and Apricot Sauce was very nice, as was the Salmon & Prawns in a Saffron and Coconut Sauce.
Our selected accompaniments were the Sliced Cooked Potatoes with Herbs and the Sauteed Vegetables.
The Calafete Sour featuring Calafete Berries was a very refreshing aperitif and the house Red Wines; Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec did not disappoint.
The desert was a Black Bean Panacotta with Passionfruit Sorbet and was a refreshing end to a fine meal.
The meal and drinks came to AUD $120 (US$90) which is expensive here, but is comparable in price to equivalent meals in Australia.

This is the sort of restaurant one expects in a major city but would be hard to find in a tourist town. Excellent menu and obviously a good chef, English speaking staff and good service. Dishes well presented.

Best meal we have had yet. I had the roast lamb with appricot sauce was delicous and a good bottle of wine. My cousin had the ahi tuna! First time I tried this and was amazing. His favorite fish and was huge. Outside doesnt look like much but inside is very nice and the waiter was great as well. Met 2 people done with the trek that just sat down. We ran into them on the street one had rack of lanb ribs with mint said was top notch too. The other agreed with his dish but can not remember what it was
